Technology and the internet has always fascinated me. In high school I was coding websites for fun. After college, I used that knowledge to get my first job as a Web Marketing Specialist. I was managing website content, coding pages and creating Flash banner ads.
While I enjoyed coding, I wanted to know what users were doing on the website. That led me to web analytics. The next few years I focused on understanding users and providing insights, eventually managing analytics for companies like Sony Electronics and Popsugar.
As a Product Designer, I am using my experience and knowledge of businesses, users and technology to design websites and apps. I built up a wealth of knowledge on design patterns through tagging websites and apps. I enhanced that knowledge through leading user research and testing. I also learned how to measure success, both for a business and a user, and I keep these in mind whenever I design experiences.
